Samantha is unhappy when Simon seems likely to marry his current girl-friend Ellen. Whilst he initially denies any marriage plans he realises that he really wants to walk her down the aisle. WWhen Nell meets Ellen she is struck by her resemblance to her daughter, Simon's late wife. Ellen believes Simon only wants to marry her because of this resemblance and calls off the engagement.
