On The Buses. Series 2, Episode 2. The Used Combination. Saturday 7th June 1969 When Arthur acquires a second-hand motor cycle combination, Stan's reputation as an ace mechanic is soon put to the test. Arthur treats himself to a motorcycle combination which has seen better days; its condition leaves him open to ridicule from all quarters and the fact it came with an inadequate toolkit makes things worse. With Stan's help the motorbike soon becomes mobile, but during a test run the bike breaks down miles from home. Stan comes to the rescue but further mishaps land him in hot water at the bus depot.
