Sledge Hammer S01E09 Magnum Farce

I'm surprised the writers took this long for a direct parody. My brother called this show "Clean Harriet". A satirical cop show with writers of fantastic pedigree and a Danny Elfman theme song was a perfect fit for mid-80s television. What could go wrong? Oh... right. It was on ABC, reedited & nerfed down to a G rating by cowardly executives, and put up against Dallas and Miami Vice.
