Roderick Campbell, a real Scunner of a man, has stolen Inventor Black's latest, greatest invention, a Magic Ray Machine that can turn ordinary people into super people. Unfortunately, Supergran, who is supposed to protect the Battenburg boy, gets hits on the head with a log thrown by Geoff Capes and loses her superpowers.
