This ABC sitcom, created by Mel Brooks, centered on Robin Hood and his Merry Men, and was played strictly for laughs. 13 episodes were produced. In the 8th episode, "There Goes The Neighborhood", the Sheriff of Nottingham plots to have Sherwood Forest chopped down for a new housing development. The series was rebroadcast on the A&E cable network in the early '90s, including this episode. Commercials were included.
