Mike and Angelo S7E10 (1995) - FULL EPISODE

Hooray For Hollywood. It's been audition after audition for years, and now Katy's finally on the edge of her big break. But if she gets it, where does that leave Mike and Angelo? Uncle Bob and Mike's girlfriend Sam are on hand to help get what all of them - apart from Katy herself - really want. This episode was originally broadcast on Thursday, 9th March, 1995. This episode is absolutely peppered with very funny quick gags (my favourite being the airport fog one), trademark silliness (the jetpack), plus a well-worked wardrobe malfunction and a fight over a banana, but there's a deeper moral about following your dream - or, more to the point, how to react when your friend is following theirs. The way it all ends makes it look like the show hadn't yet been recommissioned, and/or they weren't certain whether actress Katy Murphy would return for another run. It works as a thank-you-and-goodnight to both, but, of course, history tells us that each would stick around for a further five series. Ron Berglas and Katie Pearson are the recurring guest stars in this one, both making their final appearances on the show. Ron I've mentioned before, but Katie... Well, I haven't a clue, as her IMDB page lists only Mike and Angelo, and Googling hasn't thrown anything else up. Anyone?
