His wife lives in Cleethorpes and he hates her, so he enlists Miss Jones to pose as his wife, but when Rigsby's wife arrives, she realises that Miss Jones is pretending to be her. Rigsby's wife pretends to be with him still. It is discovered that due to his uncle's debts, he will not be inheriting anything. Rigsby is disappointed, but pleased that his wife will not be receiving anything.
